One more 90210 day treat

In case you thought 90210 day couldn't get any better, we're here to prove just how wrong you are (we love being right and gloat-y).

For those of you who can actually remember two years ago -- we can't, chronic entertainment headline syndrome -- you might recall some special opening credits from the Gossip Girl clan.

In a nod to their teen angst and drama-addled forbears, the Upper East Siders made 90210-themed opener, complete with the original guitar riff. And who says kids today don't respect their elders?

If you watched the Emmys last night, you may have noticed a familiar brunette skipping around with host Jimmy Fallon and the cast of "Glee" in the opening number.

Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diares jumped in with Fallon and his rag-tag team of gleeks, singing and shimmying to Bruce Springsteen. Check out Dobrev's killer moves in the clip below.

We're back! And with that in mind, what can we do for you?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. Better, stronger, faster.

Good news, CW Source-ites! The powers that be have given us the green light to keep pushing forward with the CW Source blog, and we're going to be bigger and better than ever.

This means more posts, more podcasts, more polls and more shenanigans in general. It also means more shows. Since we at the CW Source cover other networks as part of our oh-so-fabulous day jobs, that means we can cover more here on the Source. So we want to know: What other shows do you love that aren't on The CW?

We mostly cover other network television channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX), so those are the shows on which we can spend the most time. However, if there's a mind-blowing program on cable that you think we absolutely HAVE to cover, let us know. We can't make any promises -- except the promise to consider it.

One other stipulation: We can't cover shows that are no longer in production. We love Buffy and Seinfeld just as much as the next boob tube crony, but you'll have to save those conversations for the locker room, dinner table, or Skype date with your Tasmanian pen pal.

Continued hotness on the Teen Choice Awards blue carpet

In case you haven't lost consciousness from the beauty that is Ian Somerhalder in the last clip, we've got another one to knock you out completely.

Our lovely Matt Lanter is offering no new news on which character will be coming out this season, though there will be some action with Annie. We don't really care what he does, as long as he does it looking like this:

We're not so sure about Lanter getting vampire-ized for "Vampires Suck." Maybe we'll be more inclined to show an interest once the predictable 90210 drama goes inevitably over-the-top.

Vampire Diaries cast walks the blue carpet

Given the extent to which vampires dominated the Teen Choice Awards, the carpet should have remained red. However, we figure the Teen Choice people are trying to distinguish themselves -- and are not clairvoyant -- so we'll let it slide.

Email your way into America's Next Top Model

Are you fierce? Can you smize? Are you willing to let Tyra do potentially ungodly things to your hair? Then get ready to audition for the next cycle of America's Next Top Model.

The CW released the first slate of audition cities for Cycle 16, so girls across the country have the opportunity to strut their stuff. It looks like they're changing things up this year -- instead of a cattle-call at a venue, they're asking interested potential models to email casting directors all their details. It's hard to stampede an inbox, we guess.

To grab an audition, email the person in the city of your choice with your name, age, height, weight, contact info, and 3 stellar pics of yourself. Remember, this is for potential Top Model immortality, so make them good!

Ian Somerhalder shares the same yen as pretty much everyone else in America

Nobody likes missing out, especially when it comes to a make-out opportunity with Megan Fox.

Our favorite bad-boy vampire Ian Somerhalder attended the Teen Choice Awards last night and found out that his fellow "Lost" cast mate Dominic Monaghan got to lock lips with the actress in Eminem's new music video, "I Like The Way You Lie." Somerhalder expressed a little jealousy on the red carpet:

Our Smallville interviews are going to start getting a bit precious as the clock winds down to the final episode next year. Luckily, we got two in at Comic-Con.

Laura Vandervoort and her adorable Canadian accent are back for the 10th and final season as Kara Kent. According to Laura, hijinks will ensue between Clark and her character.

The great thing about Comic-Con is the overwhelming information download we get from the cast and crew of our favorite shows. There are interviews aplenty, and we just love sharing them with you.

First from The Vampire Diaries we have Michael Trevino, who plays werewolf-to-be Tyler Lockwood.

Then we have Matt Davis, who plays lovelorn Alaric Saltzman. We're hoping Aunt Jenna and Alaric get to hook up, and apparently Matt does too.

Comic Con Exclusive: Erica Durrance answers your questions about Lois and Smallville

You ask, we deliver! We're still recovering from the non-stop sensory explosion that is Comic Con, but we've got the first of our video interviews ready to go. First up: Erica Durrance of Smallville.

Erica gives us some hints about how things will change between Lois and Clark now that she knows about his dual identity, talks about playing the damsel who isn't all that distressed, and tells us who she really wishes she was sharing scenes with. Check it out!

This is just the first of many, folks. Stay tuned for more from Smallville (we're editing our video chat with Justin Hartley as we speak) and the rest of your favorite CW shows!

Supernatural is super funny...but you knew that already

There are many words to describe the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con, but the most appropriate is probably HILARIOUS. Then again, we wouldn't expect any less from the show that introduced the word "douchebag" to The CW's modern lexicon.

At the same time, we don't come to Comic-Con to simply be amused (yes we do), and you guys want to know the scoop.

So what can you expect in season six? Monsters, and lots of 'em. According to Sera Gamble, the apocalypse was fun and all, but now they just want to "shoot monsters in the face." We'll still get some of the deeper mythology, but we'll most likely be moving away from the loftier of the metaphysical beings.

The show will pick up a year later with Dean, who has been tamed and domesticated and, GASP, tucks in his shirt. We know it's shocking, take a Nembutal. Obviously he'll have some issues with this, which will lead to the additional hilarity of Dean struggling with a washing machine or something.

And we know you waited with bated breath, but Kripke had no answers for the Chuck-is-God thing. That, he said, was meant to be open to interpretation. Something about avoiding being "M. Night Douchey."

Probably the funniest part of the panel was the gag reel from the season five DVDs. There's our Comic-Con insider tip: Pick up the DVDs, if only for that reason. Plus, it has Jensen and Jared. No brainer.

Get ready for the red and blue suit, Smallville fans

We have to say, attending the Smallville panel this morning was a much bigger thrill than the enigmatic Vampire Diaries panel last night. And it's not because it's the morning and we haven't gotten burnt out on panels yet. The cast was energetic and forthcoming, and it was nice to plumb deeper depths than the nature of Justin Hartley's abs. Not that there's anything wrong with that. We just prefer not to feel dirty after attending a panel.

We'll be seeing some old favorites in season 10, including Laura Vandervoort and John Schneider. We'll also be seeing more of the red and blue suit, which is actually the same one used in the film "Superman Returns," which is just plain awesome. However -- not to doubt your muscles, Tom -- you might need some creotene to get to Brandon Routh proportions. That guy is a horse.

Other points to note about season 10 are: Tess will be back to stir the pot some more, Darkseid will be the primary villain, and Tom Welling will direct another episode. One attendee got to take home Welling's signed name plate when she asked for it during Q&A -- although that was only after John Schneider told the security guy to back off and just give it to her already. That's why he's Jonathan Kent.

All in all, it was a good panel. We especially liked the touching moments. Tom Welling recounted working with Christopher Reeve, who, Welling says, stayed to work four hours more than his nurse's instructions. And that is why he's Superman.
