The Sourcies Love Seeing These Characters Again and Again!

It's not just the stars who bring us to our favorite shows -- it's also those folks who keep showing up over and over again that keep us coming back. This time out, the Sourcies celebrate those recurring characters who continually knock our socks off. Which one thrills you the most? Polls close August 12, so get voting!

Bobby
Supernatural

Bobby may be the closest thing Sam and Dean have to a (living) father on Supernatural. That's not to say he's touchy-feely – he's more likely to call them idjits or douse them with holy water than go in for a group hug. But he's wise to the ways of demons, knows his way around a shotgun, has a bank of phones for confirming false identities, and has a demon-proof panic room in the basement. Trust The Bobby, for The Bobby is awesome!
  Georgina
Gossip Girl

After plenty of evil action in season one, Georgina returned in season two “transformed.” We loved seeing how kinder, gentler Georgina made everyone's head explode – but we were even more thrilled to see her return to her deliciously evil ways. “You can tell Jesus that the Bitch is back,” she says – and we cheered. We can't wait to see what happens when Blair finds out who she's rooming with at NYU.

Liam
90210

Oh Liam… you’re such a naughty boy. And you brought just the right bad-boy energy to our favorite zip code. How can you not love a bartending high school student, a sensitive-artist adrenaline junkie, and a smart, sexy hunk of man? We're not alone in being smitten – Naomi, Annie and Jen are all being drawn into your orbit. We can't wait for the drama!
  Rami
Privileged

Rami, he feisty butler on Privileged, is quite jealous of Megan’s special attention (a personal chef, for example) as tutor. While she makes valiant attempts at friendly conversation, he coldly rebuffs her in a style that would make Geoffrey, the snooty butler in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, proud.

Sam
One Tree Hill

When we first met Sam, she was shoplifting form Brooke, causing trouble for Haley in school, living in a shop-class car, and generally making life difficult for the denizens of Tree Hill. Who knew she's become a beloved family member? Brooke breaks through to this troubled foster kid when she takes her in – and Sam returns the favor by getting Brooke to realize she's ready for love. Plus, Sam is the only person able to tell Victoria to stop being a beeyotch. It's like she's got super powers!

The Sourcies Mourn The CW's Dearly Departed

The Sourcies has its black armband on in honor of The Most Dearly Departed: those characters whose death -- or departures -- shook us to the core. We're still mourning the loss of these fine CW citizens.

But before we remember our dead and/or gone, let's take a moment to celebrate the living -- especially those who lived through the Favorite Fashion Guru competition! In a stunning upset, Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass narrowly edged out One Tree Hill's Brooke Davis for the crown. Wow! We didn't see that coming -- Brooke had a commanding lead through the first part of the competition. But whatever Chuck did, he did it well, and he squeaked out a win. Was it the orange separates? The burgundy smoking jackets? The ascots? The short-shorts? We'll never know, but Chuck, we salute you. Brooke -- we're sorry you didn't win the competition, but we're sure Chuck would be willing to console you for your defeat.

Now onto the competition. Which of these dead and/or departed folks do you miss the most? Your votes will decide. Polls are open until July 29 at noon, so get voting!

Jimmy Olson
Smallville

Jimmy had a bad year -- his dream wedding was interrupted by an intergalactic killing machine obsessed with his new bride, his wife was covering for a murderer, and he picked up a drug habit to boot. But that was nothing compared to the way Jimmy died at the hands of a rage-filled Davis Bloom. What's more, Jimmy wasn't even really Jimmy. How's that for an insult from beyond the grave?
  Quentin Fields
One Tree Hill

Oh, Q! He was finally turning into a really good guy -- helping Nathan with his comeback, being a boon to the team, and being downright adorable with Jamie. That's why his senseless death -- at the hands of the man who beat up Brooke and kidnapped Sam -- was so shocking. Of course, we consoled ourselves with his ghostly presence for much of the season. RIP, Q

Bart Bass
Gossip Girl

Let's face it: Bart was not a nice man. He tormented his son, alienated his new wife, and kept dossiers on the entire family. But you have to admit that his sudden death shook the Gossip Girl universe -- and sent Chuck on a downward spiral that it took him a long time to recover from.
  Pamela Barnes
Supernatural

We loved Pamela -- she was the perfect cheeky, hard-rocking medium who wouldn't back down from a fight-- even when her eyes were burned out by an angel. Plus, even after her misfortune, she still knew how to seize the pleasure in life by seizing Sam's ass. THat's why her death -- and her dying words -- hurt us so much. "Tell Bobby to go to Hell?" Oof.

Charlie Hogan
Privileged

OK, fine, Charlie didn't actually die. Bur we still went into mourning when we learned that sweetheart Charlie was leaving Privileged. Yes, we liked Megan better with Will, but come on! It was Michael Cassidy! We adore him!

The Sourcies Strike a Pose with CW Fashion Gurus

We're practicing our pout for this week's Sourcies: Favorite Fashion Guru! The competition is fierce -- and so are the looks! This is going to be a tough one!

But we'll give our competitors time to prepare their best looks while we congratulate the winners of last week's Sourcie. Nathan and Haley dominated the Best Couple competition, bringing in 66 percent of the vote. Wow! Chuck and Blair made a stand, but all their scheming, backstabbing and hotness couldn't withstand the years of wedded bliss, true understanding and hotness that Naley brought to the game. As for the other three couples -- well, Megan and Will, Naomi and Liam and Mel and Derwin only got about 6 percent of the vote between them. Ouch.

Will this new contest be as much of a rout? We've got some stunning fashion on tap, so let's get to it! Check out the competition after the jump!

The Sourcies Snuggle Up with Best Couple!

We're entering week two of The Sourcies, and we have our first winner! Supernatural's Castiel totally smote the competition in the Favorite Newcomer category, reducing everyone else to piles of unrighteous ash. Julian from One Tree Hill put up a bit of a fight, but he was overcome by Castiel's holy wrath. Congratulations, Cas!

Today we open the voting for Best Couple, and we KNOW it's going to be controversial -- in part because of who we chose to go through. First off, we confined it to one couple per show -- we figured that was the only way to make things fair. That means your fave couple may not have made it. Sorry, but there are only so many nominees we could include.

Second, a note to Supernatural fans. You know we adore you. You know some of us ARE you. But here's the thing: Supernatural isn't really a coupley show. It's just not the point. So, we made the executive decision to leave the show out this time around. We know, we know, you hate us for that. Direct all complaints to Sarah -- as the chief SN booster, I'm the one who made the call. The rest of the crew is blameless.

Also, a lot of you nominated Sam and Dean -- they actually got the most nominations in the category! But the boys themselves had something to say about that:

Respecting their wishes, we left them off the list.

With that out of the way... voting for Best Couple is open! The poll closes on July 15, so get to it! And don't forget: There's still time to get in your vote for Best Fight!

Chuck and Blair
Gossip Girl

Oh, how we love this diabolical duo. Alone, Chuck and Blair are evil geniuses. Together, they're unstoppable -- and they make each other beter people. Plus, those kisses? So hot!
  Naomi and Liam
90210

Naomi is the rich girl who's willing to destroy anyone who gets in her way. Liam is the bad-boy adrenaline junkie from the wrong side of the tracks. Together, they're on fire. Let's hope the relationship survives last season's shocker!

Mel and Derwin
The Game

This couple has had its share of ups and downs -- baby mama drama can put a damper on things! -- but they came through it. Let's face it - Mel and Derwin are made for each other. We wouldn't have it any other way.
  Nathan and Haley
One Tree Hill

Can you believe Nathan and Haley have been married for so long? Even with a kid, a long-distance relationship and loads of high-drama happenings around them, they still manage to generate plenty of heat. We love these two!

Megan and Will
Privileged

Much as we loved Charlie, we 'shipped Megan/Will all the way. We loved their goofy charm, and were heartbroken when they broke up at the end of the season. We were hoping the show would come back just so we could see these two get back together!

Privileged's Joanna Garcia Jumps to Gossip Girl!

We were heartbroken when it became clear that Privileged wasn't coming back for a new season -- how were we going to get our Megan/Will fix? And what are we going to do without snarky Sage and sweet Rose?

Well, we can't do anything about three of those folks, but we can tell you that Joanna Garcia, who played Megan, has a four-episode arc on Gossip Girl starting with the seaon premiere! According to The Hollywood Reporter, she'll play Bree Buckley, "an evil Miss America-type blonde." Aww... we love Joanna with red hair! But we'll get over the hair-color choice, because we're just thrilled to think of Joanna dueling with the Upper East Siders. She's always played such sweet characters, so we're looking forward to seeing her sharpen her claws!

More details: Bree will apparently by the product of a conservative Southern family, but she'll turn her back on their politics. What's more, the belle will apparently be setting her sights on one Mr. Archibald -- according to Michael Ausiello, we can expect her to have a fling with Nate!

What's your take on this bit of news? Will you Privileged fans tune in to watch Joanna on Gossip Girl? Will you Gossip Girl fans take well to Nate getting yet another love interest? Talk about it in the comments!

The CW Upfronts: Goodbye to the Fallen Shows

As happy as we are about the new shows on The CW -- we think Melrose Place, The Vampire Diaries and The Beautiful Life all look like a blast -- we do have to take a moment to mourn the shows -- and characters -- we've lost. Join us and remembering these fallen favorites:

Privileged: At first blush, we feared this show would be a Gossip Girl knockoff -- look, it's based on a series of teen-girl books, and it's about the lives of the fabulously rich! -- but we soon realized it was so much more. We'll miss the show's mix of sweetness and sharpness, and we'll miss out weekly dose of Megan, Rose, Sage, Marco and Will. We held out hope that the show would make it onto the schedule -- after all, it seemed to hit the young-woman demographic that the CW prizes -- but alas, it was not to be.

The Game: Not only was this a funny/smart/sharp/touching/outrageous/always amusing half-hour of TV, it was also a fantastic set to visit. We loved Derwin, Mel, Malik, Tasha, Kelly and Jason almost as much as we loved Pooch, Tia, Hosea, Wendy Raquel, Brittany and Coby. As fantastic as they are on-screen, believe us, they're even sweeter and funnier in person. We'll miss the show, with it's mix of laugh-out-loud funny and jaw-dropping drama (often int he same scene!), but we'll miss hanging out with the cast even more. And from the comments we've been getting on our last video with Pooch and Hosea, we know you feel the same way.

Say goodbye to Reaper, Everybody Hates Chris and Lily after the jump.

Privileged: All About a Brand New You

A wedding, some philosophical differences, two break-ups and Rose swinging around the house on a zip wire. Talk about packing a lot into the Privileged season finale!

The backdrop for last’s night drama was the planning and eventual nuptials of the recently engaged Marco and Keith. With Kathy Griffin making a guest appearance as their wedding planner, these two are the only couple who looks like they will be around for season two (if there is one). On a side note, we expected funnier, better timed lines written for this well-known, d-list guest star.

Privileged Finale Preview: Rose's Spring Break Plans

We've got another sneak peak at the season finale of Privileged! Find out about Rose's "personal growth" since she moved into her how room -- and learn what she thinks the logical next step is, much to Megan's surprise.

Privileged: All About What's to Come

With one week left to the season finale of Privileged, we can’t help but ask ourselves if Will and Megan can make it. We were big proponents of the Will/Megan thing verses the Charlie/Megan after all, and to see these two fall short of being together for anything less than a full season is – well – heartbreaking.

And, while we where sad to see Michael Cassidy go (we mourn the loss of any hottie), we didn’t miss Charlie as much as we thought, especially not with the show adding Robert Buckley. Cassidy’s Charlie was more of sad, puppy dog character and we dig the harsh reality Buckley’s David has to offer. In fact, he already has made a large impact on Will and Megan’s relationship and we predict more coming during next week’s final.

Privileged: Allan Louis on Food, Brian Hallisay on Family Matters

We've got more from our set visit to Privileged! First, our own Jason C. finds out about pranks on the set, and asks Allan Louis if his role as family chef Marco is spilling over into Allan's real-life kitchen.

Next, Jason finds out parallels between Will and Brian Hallisay, and asks what's really going on with Will's family relationships:

Tomorrow, we'll have more hot scoop from Lucy Kate Hale. The season finale of Privileged is next week -- be sure to check it out!

Privileged Finale Preview: The End of Will and Megan?

The Privileged season finale hits next week, and we're already obsessed! This preview suggests that all is not well with our favorite couple. Can Will and Megan survive? Should they? Check it out!

Privileged: All About Betrayal

They fight, and fight, and fight and fight and fight...
Last night's episode of Privileged definitely felt like the beginning of the end for Megan and Will. We knew last week's tiff with Charlie spelled trouble for the relationship. What irks us most, however, is Megan's whole take on the situation.

A few weeks ago when Lily said Megan was too caught up in her world, she was dead on. We 100 percent agreed with Will when, during last night's episode, he said he shouldn't have to apologize for last week. Megan should have never let Will leave by himself and she absolutely could have talked to Charlie the next day or over the phone. When it comes down to it, she chose Charlie's friendship over her and Will's relationship. But what's sadder yet, is that she doesn't even realize it.

Privileged: Get the Scoop from Rose, Sage, Will -- and the New Guy!

We've got a bounty of Privileged interviews for you today! Our own Jason C. caught up with Lucy Kate Hale and Ashley Newbrough on set. Find out what Lucy had to say about what Rose thinks of Megan, her "underground hottie" and a behind-the-scenes moment that still makes her laugh:

Then, see what Ashley has to say about why Sage's attitude toward Megan has changed, why Sage is so hung up on fame, and what makes Luis really stand out:

Plus, our friends at The CW sent us a couple of great interviews with the leading men on the show! Brian Hallisay talks about Will and Megan, his past career, and the words he never needs to hear again:

And finally, there's Rob Buckley, who's coming on as the new guy on the show. He's young, he's hot, he's available -- what are the odds that he'll be messing up the Will/Megan relationship? Rob won't say for sure -- but he does talk about the differences between Privileged and his last TV gig:

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the last new episodes? Were you surprised by anything Lucy and Ashley had to say? Are you betting on the Megan/Will relationship, or do you think Rob's arrival means that 'ship has sailed? Talk about it in the comments!

Privileged: All About Confessions

Sure, Charlie's smiling here, but he wasn't looking so perky last night!
Goodbye Charlie, hello can of worms! Michael Cassidy makes one heck of an exit as his character leaves a path of destruction on his way out of Privileged. Yes, ladies, the former O.C. star has left the building. Charlie leaves Florida for the also sunny beaches of San Diego to study marine biology. What’s interesting is not his leaving but the drama it brings.

It all starts when Charlie meets with Lily for a hair cut. Megan and Mandy already know Charlie is off to Cali. Charlie offers Lily some very good advice and suggests she take the lead on making sure her and Megan’s dad pulls through Shelby ditching him. This turns out to be great and it kind of takes Megan aback when Lily says she’ll take care of it. She actually seemed grateful. Now if only Lily’s advice to Charlie was just as good.

She convinces him that there is no way he can start a new life unless he confesses his love for Megan to her. Ugh! It’s so obvious that Megan does not like him that way and at this point we all know his feelings are going to get hurt. But Lily hits the nail on the head when she tells him it’s not so much moving on as it is running away from his feelings.

All About the Big Picture

One good thing to come out of the disaster named Shelby was Lily and Megan's renewed relationship on Privileged. The episode started out bumpy enough. Lily was being her normal self, selfish and misunderstood. Why couldn’t she just believe that Megan had no clue where there mom was?

So, of course, Lily turns to Will – the “one person who’s always been straightforward with her.” Then there was the kiss after he gives her the 411 on what happened with her mom while she was in jail. Really? A thank you kiss? Who does that?

Either way the night ends with Megan realizing she has to be a better sister and she apologizes for not being there in the past. Looking at and comparing the recent picture of Shelby Megan took on her cell phone, the two sisters really have a heart-felt moment at the beauty shop where Lily works. We love that we were left with the warm fuzzy feeling that things might actually get better between the two.

Privileged: All About Tough Love

Wanted for the theft of bail money
Shelby’s been a bad girl: Seems like mom has fallen back to her old ways and skipped out on her family once again on Privileged. At least this time she made off with a nice parting gift.

We never really did care for Megan’s mom, and last night she proved our point. To appear out of nowhere after abandoning your family and try to act the way she did was already bold and a little ignorant. Even bolder was having the guts to do it again, and one-up yourself by stealing in the process. Yep, that’s right. It looks like the Lily apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

After last week’s call from Lily in jail, Megan rushes to be by her side only to find out her bail is $25,000. And let’s not forget that the only reason why she is in jail is because her scum of a husband left a whole backpack of drugs (not pot) in their hotel room while they were honeymooning. Let’s face it though: we all knew that this day would come, given Lily’s jaded past. Despite the fact Megan feels like they need to rescue Lily, their dad feels otherwise and convinces the family it is best that Lily learn her lesson and stay put.

Privlieged: All About What Lies Beneath

The water ballet
Oh my god. Did we really make through one entire episode of Privileged without a major hump in Will and Megan’s relationship?

But it wouldn’t be Privileged if we didn’t squeeze in some type of Smith family drama. Up this week, a heavy dose of mama-drama. That’s right, Shelby’s still sticking around, and while she may think things are all peachy-keen, Megan is torn apart by her mother’s presence.

She’s so upset by her mother, she finally gets the nerve to express her feelings and totally lashes out. We’re not surprised though. Who does Shelby think she is, anyway? She shows up after years of no contact with her children, and she thinks what? Megan will forgive her and she could be the mother she never was? Please. That woman’s got nerve.
