The Sourcies Strike a Pose with CW Fashion Gurus
We're practicing our pout for this week's Sourcies: Favorite Fashion Guru! The competition is fierce -- and so are the looks! This is going to be a tough one!
But we'll give our competitors time to prepare their best looks while we congratulate the winners of last week's Sourcie. Nathan and Haley dominated the Best Couple competition, bringing in 66 percent of the vote. Wow! Chuck and Blair made a stand, but all their scheming, backstabbing and hotness couldn't withstand the years of wedded bliss, true understanding and hotness that Naley brought to the game. As for the other three couples -- well, Megan and Will, Naomi and Liam and Mel and Derwin only got about 6 percent of the vote between them. Ouch.

Brooke Davis
One Tree Hill
Brooke has impeccable fashion credentials -- after all, she's got her own line, a magazine named after her, and adoring throngs copying her every sartorial choice. She knows ow to dress to emphasize her (substantial) assets, and can even accessorize every outfit perfectly -- just check out the arm bauble she's sporting at the Lucas and Peyton's wedding!
America's Next Top Model
We didn't always agree with the fashion that models had to wear for the shoots, but we always loved how Celia looked when she dressed herself. The lady has style! Even Paulina noted how well put together she was, and said she'd be happy to have Celia as a stylist. Whether she was wearing a sharp suit, a furry vest or sunglasses, t-shirts and yoga pants, Celia knew how to work it.
Gossip Girl
You don't often see a men on the fashion guru list -- but you don't often get a man as sartorially adventurous as Chuck Bass. Chuck wears things that should be laughable -- Ascots? Short shorts? Orange pants? Sparkly tuxedos? Smoking jackets? -- and makes them drool-worthy. You cannot deny the man's style. If pink bow ties and pocket squares come back into vogue, you know who to thank!
Privileged
We know, Sage was often photographed with her sister, Rose, but we think Sage was the more fashion-forward of the pair. After all, how can you argue fashion with a woman who designed a computer program to catalog the contents of their closets and ensure they never wore the same thing twice? We love Sage's penchant for strong, spicy colors and clothing that emphasized her fantastic height and killer bod. And when she decides to throw herself into a theme -- be it a fundraiser for Cuban emigres or a 70s-inspired music act -- she goes for it with gusto.
90210
Silver is the fashion risk-taker of the storied zip code. Not content to wear whatever the boutiques of Rodeo Drive say is in style, Silver makes every outfit her own. She knows how to work the boho-chic look like nobody's business, and she makes her signature color sing. Her collection of effortlessly draped scarves instantly personalizes her look, and despite her tough-girl image, she's not afraid to go fairy-princess pink for the prom.

And you look at the mall and you will find tons of people dressed exactly like Silver.

I have to agree with Dan. All of the characters on each of the shows has a stylist/wardrobe person on set. While Sophia does not have a stylist Brooke Davis does and she is the one nominated. I love OTH and like Brooke/Sophia's style.
Celia should become a professional stylist because she wore some amazing outfits. I would definitely hire her as a stylist.
SPN has been winning everything not OTH. The only time another show wins is when SPN is not nominated. SPN has some intense fans and I bet that if SPN was nominated in the category it would have won.
I think people vote more for their favorite show or character rather than if it really is the best in the category.
FYI I love OTH, SPN, ANTM, and GG and did not intend to insult any of the shows fans if I came off that way.

Hey, now, T.T. Retract them claws. I'm a die-hard Supernatural fan, but if they had been nominated for CW Fashion Guru, my reaction would have been "wtf?" It would have made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and I can't think of any Supernatural fan that wouldn't have been disgusted by having the words "Supernatural" and "Fashion Guru" in the same sentence.
With that in mind, my vote went to Brooke.
P.S. Who says OTH wins everything? Supernatural's basically dominating the voting. Settle down, people. Give OTH props here.

Oh please @ this. Professional stylists give them their clothes. Celia styled herself during the whole competition. She takes risks and rocks them flawlessly. Horrible picture selection for her. Where's her yellow twirly skirt? Her mossy top? Her frilly dresses?
