SMALLVILLE Big Bad Bracket: Yowza Division

We're back with round two of the Smallville Big Bad Bracket, where we pit characters, concepts, plot devices and inanimate objects against each other to determine who (or what) was the biggest bad-ass of the season.

Before we get to the main event, let's take a moment to congratulate the winners of the Scum and Villainy division: Zod's Arrival kicked the stuffing out of Parasite -- the power leech was thoroughly outmatched. The match wasn't quite as one-sided between Obsession and Police Corruption... but Obsession still managed a commanding victory. Our two non-powered criminals had quite a contest, with Island Invader Marcos edging out Mob Boss Manheim. But the closest contest -- decided by only 12 votes! -- was the match between Brainiac and Doomsday. these two powerhouses slugged it out until the last minute, but in the end, Doomsday emerged victorious.

So who will win in the round of Yowza? Can Stiletto stab the watery Linda Lake? Will Zatanna but the magic whammy on Maxima? Will Naked Distraction take out the much-feared Liver of Steel? And can Plastique blow her way through the awesome power of Kara's Departure? Your votes will decide! Voting closes July 23 at Noon Central time, so get voting!

Linda Lake
Tori Spelling returns as the “Infamous” Linda Lake. She liquidly appears wherever a scoop can be found and threatens to reveal Clark’s identity. She even died twice – once through electrocution (before Clark reset the world) and once when Davis quenches his killing desire by holding a pillow over her face.

Stiletto
Lois attempted to dabble in super heroism by dressing up in a lot of pleather and jumping in front of fans while Jimmy snapped photos. The only problem was crossing the mob and being treated like…well, someone who doesn’t have super powers and who has crossed the mob.

Maxima
Many poems and stories have been written about the power of a woman’s kiss, but come on! Maxima’s pheromone-enhanced kiss almost killed Jimmy and literally took control of Clark. Fortunately, it couldn’t defeat true love.

Zatanna
This gorgeous magician had abilities that were second to none – unless you count her father’s. Granting the heart’s deepest desire, Zatanna showed Chloe the life of Lois and Clark the life of a mortal human. She also gave Ollie her number, which would’ve been magical for most men.

Naked distraction
OK, so Ollie and Tess had a past. A naked past. So when the Green Arrow is almost caught when he’s trying to steal black kryptonite from Tess’ room, he shucks his leathers tries to explain his presence with a little naked seduction. Works for us!

Liver of Steel
When Tess takes Clark with her on the private jet in “Turbulence”, she wants answers that he’s not willing to give. So he tries to get her drunk so she’ll drop the subject. No luck, Clark – Tess has a Liver of Steel and cannot be intoxicated into submission. Maybe that’s HER superpower!

Kara’s departure
The very idea of Supergirl not being on the show anymore still brings a tear to the eye. After being saved from the dreaded Phantom Zone, Kara leaves to discover the secrets of Kandor. Goodbye, Krypton’s Rose.

Plastique
Plastique can blow up anything that she doesn’t particularly care for with her krypto-enhanced powers. Buses, canisters...probably even people if given enough time. She later becomes one of Tess' henchmen, but that is short-lived.
