In a nutshell, removing The Game was a financial mistake, but it was planned to look like the decision was justified. The date was switched to Friday...too early for it's demographic and simply a bad day for them. However, i'm sure when the ratings dropped because of the switched day...the drop was used to justify canceling the show. In addition, the bottom line is the CW didn't want to pay the actors, cast, writers, producers what they where worth. It was brilliant writing, realistic and crossed alot of race/class divides with the issues. Stupid move CW...you can see that by all of the comments! Oh and it's not about it being "Black" it's about it being a truly excellent sitcom! Everybody Hates Chris was not so good although if the ratings were okay...it shouldn't have been cancelled either.

y would yall cancel a good show like the game. at its highest peak of interest to the veiwers it gut cancelled. that was very unfair and wrong. its been hard to adjust but ive done well with your other choices and varieties of good shows. so thank you cw.

All the new shows suck. I loved the game. It bearly got a chance before it got cancelled, it makes no sense to even start a show on channel 11 you guys can't make up your mind on what you want playing on your own channel your cancelling shows left and right. The only good show left is gossip girl and smallville oh and of course all the black shows got cancelled but no surprise there either right channel 11

one of the best tv shows was Reaper. Why would a great show like this be canceled? I know so many viewers are just as upset as we are.

I don't watch Gossip Girl, Melrose Place, 90210, and whatever other show because I am not interested in them. I don't however know why they would bring such old shows back. I mean really??? Why not think of a way to improve the current shows that were up for being cancelled. I LOVED Reaper and was waiting for the new season! It was funny and different because it put a new spin on the devil owning your soul. The two main shows I watch are Supernatural and Smallville. I don't really care about the split and if one of these shows were to go off the air I would prefer Smallville over Supernatural. And watch, since this is supposedly Supernatural's last season, they will replace it with another dumb show like 90210 II or Melrose Place II! I do see a trend about the black shows...I mean, the shows with a majority black cast. Maybe the ratings aren't high enough, or MAYBE the shows are not getting enough exposure. I'll see a TON of commercials for the crappy 90's shows they're bringing back, but with The Game and a few others, even when they first came out, not as much...Why??? I'm ok on the vampire diaries because I watch True Blood. I don't completely agree with the lineup, but I'm not that upset because my 2 favorite shows have still survived.

Do we really need an encore for America's Next Top Model during the week? It makes no sense being the first time it's showed is 2 nights earlier according to the lineup. Toss it into the Saturday afternoon or evening and bring Reaper back. Reaper was witty, funny and could be a great way to finish off a Friday night. I'm all about Smallville and Reaper. Dropping Reaper only to possibly lose it to a new and revamped channel (Syfy) could give the CW some competition

I am very irritated with all of the people who are constantly saying comments about "Black" shows. The CW use to have a full line up of these shows, now what are they being replaced with??? GARBAGE! It has nothing to do with a black or white show, it has to do with the quality of the show! Also, to add to this, you watch what u can relate to. Who in the hell can relate to smallville or vampire, I mean SERIOUSLY! And to Tamara, im pretty sure u would fill the same way if the cw just took "White" shows off the air and just replaced them with all "Black" shows. We need to take into consideration all demographic's and not just target one specific group. Because just as easy as those shows were takin off, they can be picked up by another station and then CW would have no ratings at all, due to the fact that people would just follow where the show went!

there are a trillion caucasion shows and actors for people to relate to. this show was one that we could get into. i found out about THE GAME late. i think the marketing could have been better. i couldn't get into chris, but the GAME was good. they need to post a direct page for viewers to post comments on, and make it easy for us to get to. there goes another one!

yo this is some b.s ive watched the WB my whole life. Changing smallville to friday totaly kills anyones plans of goin out. smallville and supernatural were the best things to come to the CW. It had inventiveness, creativity, and really sucked u into the show. NOW I HAVE TO GET TIVO!!!

Now I get why they split Smallville and Supernatural. The two shows get alot of ratings and with them on different days their will be better ratings on Friday instead of all on Thursday.

Why are you all complaining about the black sitcoms being canceled? They were not as good as the other shows that are now being added. Race should not be an issue to you. If you are complaining about a show being canceled solely because the majority of the cast was black, and you don't regard the actual quality of the show, then you yourself are being a racist. The good shows stay. The bad shows are canceled. The CW is not racist, they only want to keep the shows that get the ratings, and get rid of the ones that don't. If you can't handle not having a large amount of black related shows, then you need to stop being a racist towards whites. Besides Everybody Hates Chris, which I still seldom watched, the black sitcoms were not entertaining in my opinion. The less sitcoms there are, and the more shows with an actual storyline there are, the better. If you expect the CW to keep all of those horrible black sitcoms just to appease their black viewers, you need to get over yourself.

Yes! They finally took off the GAME. I HATED that show. And I think seperating Smallville and Supernatural was a big mistake. They MADE Thursdays and they both belong together. They're both about eccentric people. And PEOPLE, you need to calm down. Obviously the GAME wasn't good enough so they did the obvious thing: They pulled the plug. Apparently it wasn't all that good or it would still be in the line-up.

I am an African American and I ws never that interested in watching The Game or Everybody Hates Chris. I only saw a few episodes of either show. The Game wss interesting but Everybody Hateds Chris didn't really move me at all, even thought I think Chris Rock is hilarious. I don't really mind that these two shows are cancelled. And I don't think The CW is reacist or prejudiced. And since The Game gets shown on BET I can watch it on that station.

My favorite show is Supernatural and I am very much looking forward to the new season. I am also wanting to see The Vampire Diaries. And if I hadn't lost track of Smallville I would probably watch that too. As it is I'm probably three to four seasons behind. The rest of the shows don't even interest me. It looks like Thursday is my night.

The Game was set up for failure and it was one of the best black sitcoms to come on the CW!! People couldn't find the new episodes meaning they wasn't aware when it came on my whole high school watched the game even boys and everyone is wondering why it is getting canceled?! because it is a huge success and it was real and now we are left hanging wondering whats going to happening may BET should pick up the show because it would be a huge success maybe even bigger than on the CW!!! I hope it comes back!!

For those of you who state that The Game and Everybody Hates Chris were cancelled due to a well thought out business decision, do your research on the overall impact of these shows as well as other popular black series that this network has cancelled. You can start with this site over half of the comments are negatively geared towards the fact that these shows were cancelled. Also shows such as Girlfriends and All of Us (black sitcoms) that were popular, are now cancelled. The CW started with over 5 good black TV series (not including the 2-5 that they left behind from WB and UPN) and is now left with 1, which is really not considered black because it is so diverse. Blacks do not have many civilized shows to watch so when they come and go it gets frustrating. Also fans did began to spread the word when they caught on to the show but it is hard to catch it when it comes on Friday nights, that is a setup for failure. Therefore the thought that this network may be racist is not out of line.

im not looking forward to smallville being on fridays i have another show on another network that i watch on fridays so i can see if i can watch both shows back to back

Again..another disappointing schedule..First Girlfriends and ALL of the mostly Black shows were taken off of CW with NO proper series finale. THEN you take off the Game and Everybody hates Chris?? I understand that CW11 is a business! How do viewers know what the ratings are for The Game and Everybody Hate Chris? The Game was an excellent show and that is the main reason I watched CW11, I looked forward to the show on Friday nights and if i wasn't home I made sure I recorded (DVR). CW you made a big mistake by cancelling The Game, you really need to reconsider! Bring it back and put it on Sunday. Take off some of the stupid shows you have coming on Monday - Friday like: Gossip Girl, Smallville, Melrose Place, 90210 you are bringing back shows that know one cares about! How do we know what they ratings are? I will never believe that there ratings were higher than The GAME!!! Never ever will I believe

It's true. Technically the CW is a business and cannot/should not change a major decision based on a few vehement fans. If the ratings are poor overall, the CW should not keep it on the air which would make them lose money. The Game has a large cast and economically, for the CW, would be a good decision, especially in times like these.

It has nothing to do with racism. If the people who believe that the CW is racist, why aren't you complaining about other networks? The CW tried to keep diverse shows on when the ratings do not support the show, THEY become the racists? They try... and become racists... That reasoning is pitiful and hopefully not the majority thought of the viewers of the CW.

Also it is true. If you are looking to voice your opinion, please do in a less vulgar way. Professionalism and mannerisms are important when one wants their voice heard.

Looking for the CW to blame for The Game's removal on the lineup? The blame could very well rest on the fans of the show. If you thought it was so amazing, ask yourself if you actually tried to spread the news around. I'm saying tell more than a few people and reaching out beyond your community would also help. I see many One Tree Hill fanmade websites and Supernatural websites passionately spreading the show around.

Wow! I am excited about the Thursday lineup. Supernatural is my favorite show, and I can only find time in my schedule to watch RLTV one night per week. So now I can look forward to the Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. And since the ANgel of Thursdays, Castiel, is definitely on board, it should be quite a ride as we explore Eternal Love and the Apocalypse. (Squeal).

I am very disappointed in the fall line up!! Where is the GAME?!?!? I no longer have a reason to even tune into this network!! "Reaper" is the only intelligent and clever show on CW. Dropping this show means dropping CW from my watching this station at all. All the other shows on this network are just evening soap operas---vapid, meaningless, self-absorbed, overly dramatic---yuk!

I don't like the line up at all i don't even watch the rest of the shows the only show that ever had me sitting on the couch waiting was the game if they take that show off air i for one want be watching cw at all it. At first i didnt know what the hype was about for the show and i thought it was corny. As time went by i started to watch it and became so so so intrested in the show that i would rush home to see it. I cant miss the show now. Its a show that us teens can get into and really really enjoy it and it hurts that they plan on taking the show off the air

Why is the game cancelled.Think about what you've done. If you look at some of these comments these people ar saying that they will not watch cw anymore because the game is gone. So if u cancelled the game because it wasnt getting the rating or views you wanted, then now cw will have even less views.Then you decide to cancel the show when it gets good. After my first time seeing the game season 2 episode 5 on BET I went on youtube and caught up and watched the first 2 seasons and the 1st episode of the third season.And u already wanted 2 cancel the game. Why else would you put it on in the Friday Death Slot.So thanks cw for ruining one of the best shows ever.

The Game is the best show that I have seen in a long time. Being a busy wife and mother,The Game is the only show on TV that I put fourth and effort to see every week. If The Game is not on I will have no reason to watch CW.

I really think its an awful deal that the cw would cancel "The Game." In a society of reality t.v. overkill and too much teenie bopping, The Game was a refreshing sitcom. I truly was a faithful viewer of the show, I am very disappointed to see you've chose to ignore the countless feedback of viewers to keep the show. Seeing that African Americans will no longer be represented on your network (with the exception of the artifical, wannabe black barbie Tyra) I will no longer be a viewer of the network.

Moving Smallville to fridays is smart, its an established show who's fan base will carry over do the loyalty and length of time the show has been on.

The Game: Not only was this a funny/smart/sharp/touching/outrageous/always amusing half-hour of TV, it was also a fantastic set to visit. We loved Derwin, Mel, Malik, Tasha, Kelly and Jason almost as much as we loved Pooch, Tia, Hosea, Wendy Raquel, Brittany and Coby. As fantastic as they are on-screen, believe us, they're even sweeter and funnier in person. We'll miss the show, with it's mix of laugh-out-loud funny and jaw-dropping drama (often int he same scene!), but we'll miss hanging out with the cast even more. And from the comments we've been getting on our last video with Pooch and Hosea, we know you feel the same way.

I am unsure what to think of the new schedule. I see why they split up Supernatural and Smallville both only have a couple of seasons left and you need to build something else on Thursdays. I have no interest in Melrose Place or The Beautiful Life. I will try Vampire Diaries. I don't understand why they insist on having a encore. They are the only network that activly schedules encores in Primetime. The only new show that I was activly looking forward to seeing was Body Politic. I would watch Jason Dorhing in anything. I am a female that fits in ther coveted 18-34 demo which they say they target but none of the shows Monday thru Wednesday interest me at all.

I am HURT and very SADDENED at the loss of The Game. The one smart comedy with a twist has been cancelled!!??. The one show that had as true to life story lines with great humor!! How did this happen? Please bring back the show. Get me Kelsey Grammer's # so I can help him get the show back on. If not this network then another. It has so much more to offer. Poor poor publicity by CW. Come on CW!! Come on!!!
